Hi,

I intend to travel to Africa next year. In july or august. I'd like to do it hitch-hiking with a friend, departing from Brussels. I'd love to get to Gazi, which is near Diani Beach in Kenya, under Mumbasa. This because my girlfriend will be there.

1. is it reasonable to hitch-hike through Sudan?
2. how safe is sleeping in a tent in the wild?
3. what should I ABSOLUTELY NOT FORGET?
